Business premises attacked in Ballymena



A takeaway premises in Ballymena was attacked this afternoon (Tuesday 28 September).

It is understood that windows were smashed and a door damaged at the premises on Mill Street in the town.


Police have asked anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them. In a statement to Love Ballymena, a police spokesperson said:

Police attended a report of criminal damage at a commercial premises in the Mill Street area of Ballymena, today (Tuesday 28 September) just before 3pm.



“It was reported that windows and a door was damaged during the incident. Enquiries are ongoing.


“Anyone who may have witnessed this incident is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 1035 of 28/09/21.
