Wintry weather look set to continue with a further yellow warning issued by the UK Met Office was advice that Northern Ireland is set for further snow and icy patches.
Temperatures will peak on today at 3°C and dip as the afternoon goes on.
The weather warning issued effective from 3:00pm on Thursday, 21st November, to 10:00am on Friday morning.
A Met Office spokesperson commented:
“Showers are expected to become more frequent during the afternoon and evening, feeding south across Northern Ireland and turning to snow above 150m. Some places could see 2-5cm of fresh snow, with a further 10cm over mountain tops.
“Icy patches are expected to develop on untreated surfaces during the evening and overnight as temperatures drop below freezing”
