Well done to Lucy Magee & Katherine Duff, both pupils of Ballymena Academy, who stopped, cared, and helped when it was much needed earlier this week.

Lauren Neilly contacted LB to share how the girl’s kindness and thoughtfulness made a difference this week. Lauren’s grandmother fell and injured herself, leaving Lauren’s great aunt in shock.

Lauren said: “These girls are a credit to their school and families. They helped my grandmother and great aunt on Wednesday afternoon after my grandmother had an unfortunate fall and my aunt was left in shock.

“They helped in phoning the ambulance service and calming my auntie down. They stayed until the ambulance came and were fantastic. We feel truly blessed that these girls helped our family. I feel they deserve some real recognition.”

Another family member, Stephen Neilly from The Party Zone Ballymena, commented: “Thank you to Lucy Magee and Katherine Duff for helping my mother in her time of need. A credit to their parents and school for installing good values.”

Lucy and Katherine - you both are stars. ⭐️♥️⭐️
