Police are advising road users to expect traffic delays along the North Coast this Saturday, 22nd June, due to the Macmillan Mighty Hike Full and Half Marathon’s.
The hike will begin at 6am from Larrybane, with the half marathon finishing in Bushmills. Those participating in the full marathon, will then continue on to the University of Ulster Campus in Coleraine.
There will be a road closure in place from Ballintoy Village along the Whitepark Road, to Portbradden Road between 6am and 12.30pm.
Traffic marshals will be on the ground to assist with diversions and local traffic, but if you are not participating or planning to spectate, please seek an alternative route.
