SATURDAY STORYTIME…
Our next Saturday Storytime will take place on Saturday 17th February at 12pm. We will be reading The Queen Next Door by Marcela Ferreira and Sally Agar.
This is a beautifully illustrated modern day fairytale filled with friendship, fun and fairness. We look forward to seeing everyone there, there will be colouring in afterwards as normal.
WATERSTONE'S CHILDREN'S BOOK PRIZE SHORTLIST...
We are excited to announce our shortlist for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize, now in its 20th year! There are three categories, Illustrated Books, Books for Younger Readers( 5-12 Years) and Books for Older Readers(13+).
Each category will have its own individual winner and an overall winner will be chosen. Our 2023 winner was The Cats We Meet Along The Way by Nadia Mikail, a poignant read about a seventeen year old girl and her family taking a roadtrip across Malaysia to find her estranged sister.
