The Great Celebrity Bake Off returns this evening to Channel 4 for Stand Up to Cancer 2023 - a joint national fundraising campaign from Cancer Research UK and Channel 4.
More than £93 million has been raised in the UK to date.
The new intake of celebrities hoping to impress Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith in the signature, technical and showstopper challenges are:
Actor, comedian, director and producer David Schwimmer, actor and comedian Tom Davis, actress, BAFTA nominated comedian, writer and actor Rose Matafeo, singer and songwriter Jesy Nelson, TV presenter Jay Blades MBE, stand-up comedian Judi Love, actor, comedian and writer Mike Wozniak, businesswoman and investor in Dragons Den Deborah Meaden, comedian, actor and presenter Ellie Taylor, media personality and businesswoman Gemma Collins, poet, actor, comedian, screenwriter and radio personality Tim Key, TV presenter AJ Odudu, actress Jessica Hynes, TV presenter Paddy McGuinness, singer, author and TV personality Coleen Nolan, actor and comedian Joe Thomas, Olympic gold medallist Tom Daley OBE, actor and filmmaker David Morrissey, stand-up, comedy actress and writer Lucy Beaumont, and broadcaster and radio presenter Adele Roberts.
Speaking ahead of entering the tent Jesy Nelson confessed to "absolutely not" being able to bake, describing her baking style as "catastrophic".
"I’m really nervous about the showstopper," said Jesy. "But I’ve been nervous about the whole thing, just baking something for the first time ever, and having it filmed and judged on the TV.
"I LOVE Bake Off so much. It’s one of those programmes that anyone can watch and enjoy. I love watching it when I’m on a diet, I love tormenting myself with what I’d pick and choose to eat. And this sounds really bad, but I find it really entertaining watching how stressed people get, and how they react when things go really wrong. And now I’ve had that happen to me! It’s horrible."
The Great Celebrity Bake Off returns to Channel 4 on Sunday, 19 March, at 7.45pm.
