The Antrim Coast Half Marathon Kid’s Run for 7-16 year olds, and entry is open now with a maximum of 300 entries available. The Kid’s Course takes in the last 1000m of the Antrim Coast Half Marathon and all kids will get their own race bib.
The Kid’s Run will be started by five time Olympian Jo Pavey.
Jo will be joined by her family, who hope to also take part the run. A host of other British and Irish running stars will be there to cheer the participants on.
Starting on the Promenade at the bottom of the hill, the kids will run the length of the promenade and onto the Chaine Memorial Road. The run will continue past the Chaine Memorial Tower, and finish under the World Athletics finishing gantry used for the Half Marathon.
When the run is completed the kids will be directed to Sandy Bay Playing Fields, where they will all will receive a finishers medal and t-shirt.
Sandy Bay Playing Fields are the hub of the Antrim Coast Half Marathon event. The Playing Fields will host artisan and food and drink vendors, as well as children’s inflatable play area, music, and entertainers.
This year’s event will be a day with a something for the whole family to enjoy!

Age on run day, with approximate start times (subject to change):
• 7-8 year olds – 2:00PM
• 9-11 year olds – 2:15PM
• 12-13 year olds – 2:30PM
• 14-16 year olds – 2:45PM
Capacity is capped at 300; please enter early entry to avoid disappointment.
£12 per entry + admin fee.
