The Traction Club of Ulster (TECU) is gearing up to host a spectacular St Patrick’s Day Vintage Show on Monday, 17 March 2025, from 11:00am to approximately 3:00pm.
Held at the historically rich Raceview Mill in Broughshane (BT42 4FA), this family-friendly event promises a captivating display of yesteryear’s machinery and vehicles, all in honour of St Patrick.
Nestled near the iconic Slemish Mountain—where St Patrick is said to have first resided in Ireland—Raceview Mill offers a fitting backdrop with its restored water wheel, striking wool tower, and charming mill buildings.
Visitors can expect a vibrant showcase of steam engines, stationary engines, tractors, lorries, cars, and trade stands, alongside ample parking and facilities. Beyond the vintage displays, the venue tempts with stylish shopping and dining options, ensuring a delightful day out for all.

Open to the general public, the event welcomes everyone to join in the festivities, even for just a short visit.
Entry is accessible via the main Ballymena to Broughshane road, with a minimum donation of £5 for adults requested at the gate (payable to Club Marshals). Children and students enjoy FREE admission, and all proceeds will support local Neonatal Units for premature babies—a cause close to the community’s heart.
Highlights include beautifully presented working and static vintage collections, offering a nostalgic glimpse into the past. TECU extends heartfelt thanks to the McKeown family for once again providing this unique heritage site for the second annual St Patrick’s celebration, as well as to Dessertco for supplying delightful refreshments throughout the day.
Whether you’re a vintage enthusiast or simply seeking a memorable holiday outing, the St Patrick’s Day Vintage Show promises fun, history, and community spirit in equal measure.
