Festive frolics are afoot at Dogs Trust Ballymena as the team deck the halls in preparation for its annual Christmas Fair on Saturday 7th December.
The fair will feature a wide range of stalls, offering everything from raffles and various games designed for all ages to enjoy.
In addition to Dogs Trust’s own stalls, there will be other vendors present selling unique products, all perfect for Christmas gifts or stocking fillers.
With just a few weeks to go until the Ballymena-based rehoming centre hosts the much-loved festive event, staff are on the lookout for donations, including unwanted gifts, toiletries and trinkets, new dog toys, chocolates or biscuits for its Wheel of Pawtune.
Dogs Trust Ballymena is also appealing for larger donations that would be suitable for raffle prizes.
Kirsty Mark, Supporter Relations Officer at Dogs Trust Ballymena, said:
“The Christmas Fair is a key fundraising event for us and it’s always a special day. We look forward to welcoming everyone along to the rehoming centre for a festive, fun-filled afternoon.
“All the money raised at the Christmas Fair will go directly to supporting the dogs in our care. It’s a wonderful way to raise pounds for hounds whilst getting in the Christmas spirit.”
At the event, which will run between 11am and 4pm, supporters will be able to see the dogs currently available for rehoming and then browse the many craft and food stalls. Most impawtantly, Dogs Trust is inviting guests to bring their dogs with them so they can meet Santa-Paws and have their photo taken with the man himself!
There is plenty to do for every family member so why not come along and get your dog, or special human, that extra special Christmas present. Entry and parking are free on the day.
If you have any goodies to donate, please drop them off at Dogs Trust Ballymena, 60 Teeshan Road, Ballymena BT43 5PN or contact Kirsty at kirsty.mark@dogstrust.org.uk
