Police respond to report of ‘sudden death’ at Ballymena cemetery

A number of emergency response vehicles responded this afternoon to an incident at the cemetery on the Cushendall Road, Ballymena.

A police spokesperson said:

“Police attended the report of a sudden death of a man in the Cushendall Road area of Ballymena this afternoon (Thursday 25th February).

“A post mortem is scheduled to determine the cause of death, however, the death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.”
