Police investigate after early morning car blaze in Ballymena

Police are investigating the circumstances of an early-morning car fire in Ballymena.

A report was received at approximately 2.30am this morning, Sunday 13th April, of a car on fire in the Corlea Gardens area of the town.

Colleagues from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service attended and extinguished the blaze.

Extensive damage was caused to the vehicle and a second vehicle parked close by. Enquires are now ongoing to determine if the cause of the fire was deliberate.
