Plans continue to advance for new 24-hour Go filling station in Ballymena

Plans continue to advance for the new unattended 24-hour filling station to be constructed on the Larne Road Link, Ballymena.

Approved by Mid and East Antrim Borough Council's Planning Committee back on November 10th 2022, the site's developer has now submitted detail of the digital signage to be used.

The development is the latest expansion of local fuel company LCC Group which incorporates a range of businesses - including Go Power, and was established in 1986. LCC is the leading solid and liquid fuel importer and distributor in Ireland.

Set to open under the Go brand, the new filling station in Ballymena, will have four fuel pumps, serving up to eight vehicles, as welll as a car wash with car parking on site. Plans also include a drive thru coffee shop.

According to the company’s website, Go offers a ‘fresh, contemporary new concept for the modern forecourt,’ and the ‘brand name is a local Irish brand from an established and proactive fuel company with new ideas, to help improve and modernise the retail forecourt sector’.

The company’s self-styled 24hr unattended forecourts currently have premises located across Northern Ireland including in Crumlin, Carrickfergus, Newtownabbey, Belfast, Cookstown, Londonderry, and a number of other towns.
