A pedestrian has been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision in the Cullybackey Road area of Ballymena on Thursday, November 7.
The collision happened around 2:00pm. Police and emergency services rushed to the scene of the incident and the road was closed for a period of time.
A spokesperson for the Police Service of Northern Ireland confirmed the person’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
“Police received a report of a single-vehicle road traffic collision in the Carniny Road area on Thursday 7th November,” the spokesperson said.
“A pedestrian sustained a number of injuries which are not believed to be life threatening and was taken to hospital for treatment following the collision.”
The Cullybackey Road has since fully reopened.
