Owner appeals for help after theft of two scrambler bikes and diesel in Co Antrim

Two scrambler bikes stolen in Armoy

A man has appealed for information following the theft of two scrambler bikes and an amount of diesel from a property on the Coolkeeran Road area of Armoy.


Ian Henry took to social media after the incident which took place sometime in the early hours of Thursday morning, July 4th.



Ian appealed for help, saying:


“Stolen - two bikes and 250 litres of clear diesel in jars from Coolkeeran Road, Armoy between the hours of 0030 and 0630 this morning.”


The bikes - a KTM 300 EXC Erzberg Edition 2021, and a KTM 450 SXF Factory Edition 2021, are both special edition models and easy to identify according to the owner.



“Any help getting these bikes returned would be greatly appreciated,” added Ian.


Commenting on the incident, a spokesperson for the Police Service of Northern Ireland said:


“Police received a report that two motorbikes had been stolen from farm buildings on Coolkeeran Road, Armoy sometime between midnight and 8am this morning, Thursday 4 July.

 

“Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference 243 04/07/24.”
