North West 200 live coverage across BBC Sport NI

Stephen Watson presents the action on BBC iPlayer with 11 time NW200 winner Phillip McCallen, and Jenny Tinmouth, the fastest female rider to lap the Isle of Man TT

 

Starting with live coverage of first practice on Wednesday (May 8), BBC Sport NI is providing bike fans with extensive coverage of this year’s North West 200 across its platforms - and across the UK and internationally.

 

There will be full live coverage of all practice sessions and races during the week – on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday - on BBC iPlayer with live worldwide video streaming available on the BBC Sport NI website bbc.co.uk/sportni.

 



BBC Sounds and BBC Radio Foyle will also have live audio coverage on race days – Thursday evening and throughout Saturday – as well as live coverage on BBC Radio Ulster from 2pm-4pm on Saturday.

 

And race fans can keep up-to-date will all the best action, news, interviews and features across BBC Sport NI’s social and digital platforms throughout race week.

 

Stephen Watson presents the action on BBC iPlayer with 11 time NW200 winner Phillip McCallen, and Jenny Tinmouth, the fastest female rider to lap the Isle of Man TT. Keith Huewen and Steve Parrish will navigate fans around the famous triangle circuit, while Larry Carter reports from pit lane. 



Also joining the team for the first time will be popular rider Lee Johnston, who will miss this year’s racing due to injury.


Michael McNamee introduces the BBC Sounds coverage and will be joined by Orla Bannon, Steve English, Chris Kinley, Adrian Coates and former rider Jamie Hamilton.

 

As well as the live coverage, there will also be three dedicated highlights programmes on BBC iPlayer and BBC One NI on Friday 10 May at 10.40pm, on Sunday 12 May at 10.30pm and on Monday 13 May at 10.40pm.
