A new drive-thru Café / Restaurant has been proposed for Ballymena, Causeway Coast Community has exclusively revealed. Plans submitted by East Coast Fuels Limited could see a petrol filling station with retail shop and Drive-Thru Restaurant/Café built on lands between Ballee Road East and the M2 Motorway immediately south of Larne Road Roundabout and including 2 Liminary Road, Ballymena.
Ballee Service Station proposals also include electric vehicle fast charging, internet café & EV fast charging points, HGV spaces, site access, landscaping and all other associated works.
A bespoke website will be made for interested parties to view consultation documentation and site proposals. It will go live on Monday 11th April 2022 and run for a period of five weeks.
It is not yet known who the Drive-Thru Restaurant/Café operator will be, but local speculation is pointing to Burger King.
