Police are advising motorists to expect delays in Rasharkin on Friday, 19 August, due to a planned parade.
Organised by Ballymaconnelly Sons of Conquerors Flute Band, around 25 bands are expected.
The parade will be leaving the Turnpike on Church Road at 7pm and will proceed via Main Street, Moneyleck Road, Bann Road, finishing at Turnpike.
Dunaghy Flute Band will be leading the parade this year.
A police spokesperson commented:
“A number of roads in and around the village will be closed for a time, with local diversions in place between 6.30pm and 9pm.
“There may be some disruption to traffic, so if you can seek an alternative route to avoid any potential delays, please do so.”
