The Western Health and Social Care Trust (WHSCT) has announced a temporary suspension of all visiting to Western Trust Hospitals and Facilities.
In a statement the WHSCT said:
“Due to the continued pressures on our hospitals/care facilities and indicators that levels of COVID-19 transmission are rapidly rising across our community, the Western Trust have assessed all elements of risk and in order to protect patients, visitors and staff, the decision has been made to temporarily suspend visiting on all sites and facilities within the Western Trust.
“This suspension will now apply from midnight on Wednesday 29 December 2021 and will be reviewed on Friday 31 December.”
