Man injured and property damaged in early morning disturbance in Ballymena

Ballymena, April 3, 2025 – Police responded to a disturbance at a residential property on Waveney Road in Ballymena in the early hours of Thursday, April 3, leaving one man injured and the property damaged.


Authorities were called to the scene this morning following reports of an altercation. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a man in his 30s had sustained facial injuries.


Additionally, several windows of the property had been smashed during the incident.



Police have remained at the location throughout the day, conducting ongoing enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the disturbance. The investigation is in its early stages, and officers are working to piece together the events that led to the violent incident.


A spokesperson for the police issued a statement appealing for witnesses:


“We would urge anyone with any information in relation to the incident to contact us on 101, quoting reference number 96 03/04/25.”
