Police have arrested a man in his 20’s on suspicion of burglary in the Meadowvale area of Ballymena this morning (Thursday 16 June).
A number of police vehicles were seen in the area after a report was made to the Police Service of Northern Ireland at approximately 9am this morning.
A police spokesperson confirmed the suspect was arrested at the scene.
Commenting on Thursday afternoon, police thanked the public for their help saying:
“Huge thanks to the eagle eyed members of the public who reported suspicious activity to us in the Meadowvale area of Ballymena this morning.
“E Section from the Local Policing Team, along with our colleagues from the District Support Team were quickly on scene and made an arrest on suspicion of burglary and other offences.”
