Man arrested following reports of burglaries and assault in Ahoghill

Police in Ballymena have arrested a 27 year old man following reports of a number of burglaries and an assault on Thursday 31st August.


Reports were received by police of burglaries in The Croft, the Cullybackey Road and Brooklands areas of Ahoghill on Thursday evening.



A report was also received of an assault on a woman in the Main Street area of the town. The man was arrested on suspicion of a number of offences including assault occasioning actual bodily harm, burglary, taking a motor vehicle without authority, dangerous driving and driving whilst disqualified. He currently remains in custody.
