The Radio Cracker Ballymena team are putting the finishing touches to the studio and are excited for another year’s broadcasting, with the annual fantastic fundraising effort set to continue.
The charity station has been broadcasting on the airwaves across Ballymena and surrounding areas since 1992. In that time the volunteers, backed by the generosity of the local community have broadcast over 10,000 hours of FM programming, raised over £1.8m and supported over 200 projects worldwide.
This year the dedicated team will once again be broadcasting cracker tunes for cracker causes, seven days a week up to Christmas Eve. You can tune-in on 107.6FM or listen on the website – www.radiocracker.org.uk
Lots of the presenters from the past few years will be return for 2024 along with a few new ‘faces’. The ever popular School’s Spot is back again with lots of the local school choirs coming in to sing live on-air.
Radio Cracker Ballymena goes live from 7:30am on Wednesday 27th November - make sure to tune-in for a great mix of music and craic!
The Radio Cracker Shop opened last Wednesday and the shop crew will be delighted to see you pop in and offer your support. The shop, located at the former Shoe Zone shop (near the main entrance to the Tower Centre) on Wellington Street, will be open right through to Christmas Eve.
The Radio Cracker Shop is open Monday – Friday, from 10:30am – 4:30pm, and on Saturdays from 11am – 3pm.
