Police are appealing for information and witnesses following an incident yesterday at Orkney Drive, in the Ballykeel 2 area of Ballymena.
A police spokesperson said:
“On Monday 9 August at 3:20pm, police received a report that a male brandished a gun and pointed it at a female resident after he arrived at her door in the area before running away in the direction of Ballykeel 1.
“Police are appealing for anyone who may have information which could assist our investigation or who noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time to police on 101 quoting crime reference 1204 of 09/08/21.
“Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100 per cent anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
