This Christmas Sausage Roll Wheel with Camembert Cheese is the perfect festive weekend bake! If you’re looking for showstopper party food, look no further.

I used TS Foods (The Stuffing Company) Premium Cranberry, Apricot & Orange Stuffing for the recipe as the fruity chunks are so delicious - these are the tastiest sausage rolls I’ve ever made!

INGREDIENTS…

Serves approx. 6

1 wheel Camembert or Brie

1 sheet ready rolled puff pastry

200g sausage meat

Salt and black pepper

150g 'The Stuffing Company' Premium Cranberry, Apricot & Orange Stuffing A sprig of fresh rosemary (optional)

1 egg, beaten

1 tbsp cranberry sauce

Christmas Sausage Roll Wheel with Camembert Cheese

INSTRUCTIONS…

Cut the puff pastry sheet in half lengthways.

In a large bowl, mix the sausage meat and delicious stuffing together. Season with salt and pepper.

Halve the mixture, then shape each half into a long sausage and put along the long edge of one side of both rectangles.

Fold the pastry over itself, completely enclosing the sausagemeat, then seal the edges with a fork. Cut into sausage rolls about 3-4cm wide.

Put the cheese onto the middle of a baking tray lined with a sheet of baking paper. Set the sausage rolls around the cheese in a circle making sure they touch each other.

You may have a few leftover sausage rolls - just cook these in the oven on a separate tray.

Brush really well with egg then chill for 20 minutes (or until you are ready to cook it - you could do this up to 24 hours in advance.

Heat the oven to 170 degrees fan. Brush the sausage roll with egg again. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden and cooked through. You could also air fry this if it fits!

Transfer to a serving board and spoon the cranberry sauce into the cheese. Add the rosemary sprig for decoration.
