Irish Cup Final live across BBC Sport NI

Linfiekd Irish cup final

One team is out to end a 45-year wait for Irish Cup glory while the other is aiming to add to their record 44 wins in the competition.

BBC Sport NI will have live coverage of this Saturday’s (May 4th) Irish Cup Final between Cliftonville and Linfield across BBC iPlayer, BBC Two NI and the BBC Sport website with live commentary on BBC Sounds and BBC Radio Ulster.

Stephen Watson introduces the action from 2pm on BBC iPlayer and BBC Two NI as the two Belfast rivals face each other in an Irish Cup Final for the first time in 90 years.

Stephen is joined in studio by Stephen Craigan and David Jeffrey while former Glentoran and Crusaders player Paul Leeman joins Thomas Kane on commentary.

Michael McNamee presents Sportsound on BBC Sounds and BBC Radio Ulster from 2pm with Joel Taggart and Liam Beckett on commentary with Sean Ward and Colin Coates providing analysis.

Linfield will look to complete the cup double and add the Irish Cup to their BetMcLean Cup success from earlier in the season. The Blues secured their place in the final after running out 3-1 winners against Glentoran in their semi-final while Cliftonville booked their place in the showpiece final with a 2-0 win against Premiership champions, Larne.

Kick-off at Windsor Park is 2.30pm.
