Genesis Network Ballymena is set to hold their next hub gathering this week in the town, and the team would like to extend a very warm welcome to all local Christian businesspeople and marketplace leaders to come along and get involved!

Established in 2021, Genesis Network believes that personal faith matters as much in business and in the marketplace, as it does on a Sunday in the Church. The network developed off the back of the Christian Business Marketplace Committee (CBMC), formerly Christian Businessmen’s Committee, which was founded in Northern Ireland in the 1950s.

Over the last three years the organisation has flourished and now has a number of local hubs across Northern Ireland, including Belfast, Lisburn, Ballymena, North Down, Lurgan and the North West. Members meet regularly, providing support and encouragement to each other to live the message of transformation, with a heart to make Jesus known in their own professional settings and surrounding marketplaces.

In Ballymena, Genesis Network meets on the second Thursday of each month at 8:00pm in West Church, with the next meeting set to take place this Thursday, 8th February.

Commenting ahead of this week's upcoming hub event, a local spokesperson for Genesis Network, explained:

"We would love to extend a warm invitation to local men and women who are committed to living their Christian faith within their professional spheres and marketplace, to join us at our hub gathering on Thursday evening!

"The Genesis Network is all about providing a space for Christian business owners and 'decision makers' to come together and benefit from mutual encouragement and support. We also have 'Young Professionals' which is a hub specifically launched for younger people who aspire to become a business owner and are currently on that journey.

“We aim to support other Christians in business, who like ourselves, are navigating the challenges and opportunities of the marketplace while desiring to do so in a way that reflects Christ. We also want to encourage businesspeople to seek personal transformation by the Holy Spirit, leading to the transformation of individual businesses. These businesses each exist within a sphere of influence, and can bring positive transformation to towns, cities and nations through ministering in the marketplace.”

Talking about their hopes for the Genesis Network, the spokesperson went on to say:

“We have a vision to expand the network by establishing additional hubs across the region. The network currently hosts various events, including Young Professional events, local prayer breakfasts, Equip events, and more.

“As Genesis Network continues to flourish we desire to see an ever-growing impact upon the lives of business leaders across Ireland. It is our heart to see a strong, supportive community that actively showcases Jesus in the marketplace and brings transformation across the island."

Save the date and pop along this Thursday evening to discover more!
