Fairhill Shopping Centre is delighted to announce Castle Tower Parents, Friends & Staff Association as its chosen Community Partner for the year.

This impactful partnership provides countless opportunities to enhance Castle Tower’s fundraising efforts in the local community.

Castle Tower School, established in 2007, is renowned for its commitment to the development and support of almost 400 children with sensory, learning or physical difficulties. This partnership aligns perfectly with Fairhill Shopping Centre’s initiative to support the local Ballymena community.

The Parents, Friends & Staff Association work to raise funds for additional resources such as activities, facilities and equipment to support the advancement and learning of pupils.

Valerie McLernon, Centre Manager of Fairhill said:

“We are excited to welcome Castle Towers Parents, Friends and Staff Association as our Community Partner. Their inspiring work and dedication to providing quality education and support to the students, aligns perfectly with our values.

‘’We look forward to making a meaningful impact in our community and supporting the incredible efforts of Castle Tower Parents, Friends and Staff Association.”

Due to the demand for places in Castle Tower School, several classes have recently relocated to the Ballee Campus and they urgently require sensory and outdoor equipment. This inspiring partnership will allow Castle Tower to focus on purchasing modern equipment for its new location.

Throughout the year, Fairhill Shopping Centre and Castle Tower will collaborate on a range of uplifting fundraising projects and events, aiming to raise awareness of the excellent work and support which Castle Tower School provides to the local community.

Marbeth Gilmour, a spokesperson from Castle Tower said:

“Castle Tower Parents, Friends & Staff Association are delighted to be chosen as the Charity Partner with the Fairhill Shopping Centre in Ballymena.

“We look forward to working with the Centre Management, and shops located therein, together with our children and our young adults from Post16, to enhance our fundraising efforts and develop many exciting fundraising opportunities. Look out for them over the coming months!”

Fairhill Shopping Centre is Ballymena’s premier shopping destination, offering a distinctive variety of high-street brands such as H&M, River Island and Superdry. The centre is undergoing a significant £7m redevelopment which will see Primark occupying a 26,100sq ft retail space.
