East Antrim MLA & Communities Minister Gordon Lyons has condemned an incident that occurred overnight when racist grafitti was sprayed on the walls of Larne Health Centre.
Mr Lyons condemned the incident as “dispicable attack”.
The Communities Minister added:
“To use the symbol of Nazi fascism is an insult to all those whose loved ones fought and died for our freedoms in WW2.
”I urge anyone with information to contact the PSNI on 101.”
Police in Larne day they received a report of criminal damage caused to the wall of a health centre in the Gloucester Avenue area of the town today, Thursday 26th September.
Inspector Ash said:
“Racist graffiti was daubed on the wall of the property and we believe this was done overnight.
“At this time our Neighbourhood officers are making enquiries in relation to the matter, and we will be engaging with the local community and our partner agencies today to have the graffiti removed.
