County Antrim family festival cancelled for 2024

Glenarm Castle home of Camp Dalfest

One of County Antrim's most popular family music festivals has announced that the event will not take place in 2024.

Camp Dalfest, set in the grounds of Glenarm Castle Estate on the East Antrim coast, announced the news on Tuesday (6th February), and will no doubt come as a disappointment for many.

Last year the festival took place on the 15th and 16th July, and was headlined by music acts including The Vamps, Sam Ryder, Blue, Sophie Ellis-Baxter, KT Tunstall, Scouting For Girls, and included a range of other popular guests.

For many families, the event has become an annual weekend break, with many choosing to camp on the Estate.

In a short statement, a spokesperson for Camp Dalfest said:

"We regret to announce that Camp Dalfest 2024 has been postponed until 2025.

"Last summer’s poor weather, followed by a very wet winter, has hampered our ability to host this year’s festival. We know this will be a major disappointment to many, however we are determined to return bigger and better on 19th and 20th July 2025.

"Thank you for your understanding and please stay tuned for some exciting announcements later in the year."
