A lively one-year-old Labrador who has spent two months at Dogs Trust Ballymena Rehoming Centre- is on the look-out for his perfect match.
Malt is a typical energetic Labrador who loves to play, swim, chase anything that moves and lap up all the affection that’s on offer. As such a young lad, he still has lots to learn, so is looking for committed owners who have the time for continued training.
Conor O’Kane, Manager at Dogs Trust Ballymena said:
“Anyone who currently owns or has ever owned a Labrador knows they make a fantastic family pet if they receive plenty of exercise and enjoy an active lifestyle. Malt is no lap dog; he is fun and lively and is excited about many things including playing, learning and of course his food.
“This boisterous boy requires a home with experienced owners who have owned a similar dog before. A good-sized outdoor space is required where he can release some of his energy and excitement about life. He would benefit from further training, which Dogs Trust can assist with, as well as enrichment games which Malt is a big fan of.”
Malt is looking for an adult only home with adopters who are at home for most of the day to begin with until he settles in. He is super friendly so could live with another calmer dog that is willing to adapt to an excited youngster bounding around.
