Get ready for a magical week of Christmas cheer this November!
Join popular radio presenters Stuart Robinson and Deputy Dave at Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council’s Christmas Tree Light Switch On celebrations held across the Borough from 18 to 25 November.
Seven local children will also have the opportunity to hit the button and turn on the Christmas Lights!
Each Switch On event will be packed with jolly activities including an Elf Girl Band, a pantomime, eco-friendly Christmas crafts, festive food and drink and local school choirs so save the date for a night of community fun and memory-making moments.

LIGHT SWITCH ON COMPETITION
Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council are giving seven young residents the opportunity to help The Mayor and Santa switch on the Christmas Lights in their local area.
Children aged 4-11 years are being invited to create their own Christmas Tree decorations using household recyclable products. Entries can be placed on the special trees in the foyer of Antrim Civic Centre or Mossley Mill from 13-16 November where the Mayor will judge a winning design from each of the Borough’s seven districts.
Winners will get to switch on the Christmas Lights and will receive a voucher sponsored by Abbey Centre.
To enter you must attach a tag with your child’s name and age and the guardians name, address and contact number these can be collected from reception at Antrim Civic Centre or Mossley Mill when you arrive with your entry.
