Alderman Beth Adger has welcomed resurfacing works at a pothole problem area in Ballymena.
Motorists in the town have been complaining for months about the condition of the carriageway at the lower end of the Antrim Road/Queen Street, approaching the mini-roundabout with Toome Road, Ballymena.
It is understood more extensive resurfacing works on the road has been delayed over a dispute between a local resident and the Department for Infrastructure.
Commenting on the work which was completed on Sunday, 13th August, Alderman Adger said;
"After lobbying for a few months to get the potholes fixed on Queen Street at the Toome Road Roundabout, it was great to see it finished today.
"My thanks to Department for Infrastructure (Roads) for listening to my concerns."
